Presentation of a traveling exhibition of children’s drawings “United in Diversity” and the book “Armenian Folk Tales”

January 23 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

“United in Diversity” is an exhibition that includes 30 selected children’s drawings made during the activities of IV and V grade students as part of Activity 3 “Class Hour” at the National Library. After the end of each lesson, the children had the creative task of creating their own drawings with oil pastels or watercolor paints, with which they illustrated various elements of the holidays of the Roma, Bulgarian, Armenian and Jewish ethnic groups, expressing their understanding of the message “unity in diversity”. The exhibition is traveling and in the coming months it will be presented in the schools of the children – authors of the drawings, in places visited by representatives of the three ethnic groups (Roma, Jews and Armenians), as well as in the People’s Community Center “Sun-1879” in the city Ikhtiman (project partner).

During the event, we will also talk about the fairy-tale world, the magic and the magic that lies between the pages of the children’s book “Armenian Folk Tales” with the author Silva Nalbantian-Khacheryan.

Welcome!
